January 1, 2007: "Denver Dog Works Hires a New Trainer.": Denver Dog Works hires new trainer, Derrick Wilson. Derrick has been training with Denver Dog Works in its apprenticeship trainer's program he specializes in protection training.

December 12, 2007: Denver Dog Works hires Steve Caulk of ProConnect Public Relations to handle media and interview requests.

November 12, 2007: Denver Dog Works gave a mushing seminar to the 7th grade class at Denver Christian Academy. Dr. Robert Forto talked about his mushing experience, shared stories and spoke about the book Call of the Wild by Jack London.

October 17, 2007: New Board and Train Procedures: Denver Dog Works has applied for a boarding/training school license through the State of Colorado and we need to change several procedures to be in compliance. Please click here to read these policies and procedures.

October 17, 2007: "Dog Scouts": Denver Dog Works hosts Dog Scout Troop #165. Dr. Robert Forto is the co-troop leader for #165. All are welcome to attend.

October 14, 2007: "New Puppy": Denver Dog Works acquires a new puppy; Keyna a prospect for our service dog training program.

August 15, 2007: "Denver Dog Works Hires a New Trainer.": Denver Dog works hires a new trainer, Lyndsay Morton. Lyndsay specializes in service dog training. She is welcomed as a valuable member to our team.

August 1, 2007: "New Puppies!": Denver Dog Works acquires two puppies; Rutgrr and Jade for service dog training.

Dr. Robert Forto of Denver Dog Works has been asked to be the premiere trainer for the 4th Annual Dog Day! at Castlewood Canyon State Park. Dog Day will be held on Sunday August 12, 2007 @ 9:00 to 1:00. Activities will include: Dog training demonstrations held by Denver Dog Works, dog cooling pools, free giveaways, Hound Hikes and more.

July 29, 2007: "Denver Dog Works Hires a New Trainer.": Denver Dog Works hires new trainer, Chris Towell. Chris has been training with Denver Dog Works in its apprenticeship trainer's program.

July 22, 2007: Can Somebody train me?: Denver Dog Works has begun training Stevie the Wonder Dog, an adorable three month old lab puppy. Stevie is also totally blind. While this will be a tremendous challenge, Denver Dog Works was glad to help were other trainers said no way! Stevie's owner, Matt says: "I want Stevie to be the best blind therapy dog in the world!" July 1, 2007: "Denver Dog Works is open for business!: Denver Dog Works has opened it's new school at 10400 E. Evans Ave Denver Colorado 80247. They can be reach by phone at 303-752-2818 or by email at rforto@denverdogworks.com. They will be having a Grand Opening celebration later this year.

July 1, 2007: Canine Communication Studies comes to Denver.: Denver Dog Works is offering the only accredited canine trainers course in the state. If you are interested in becoming a dog trainer please click on the "Become a Dog Trainer" link to the left.

June 2007: Dr. Robert Forto is nominated for several awards. Robert Forto, PhD, has been nominated for several awards by his peers at the International Pet Dog Trainers Association. He has been nominated for: Dog/Dog Aggression Award, Best New Business Award,  Behavior Therapy Excellence Award, Outstanding Achievement Award for 2007. These awards will be presented at the annual conference in October.

June 2007: Dr. Robert Forto and his wife, Michele have been voted into the Mountain States Dog Training Club. This is one of Colorado's oldest dog training clubs. They host several events each year including obedience trails and agility matches.
