Playtime in the dog yard!

Denver Dog Works offers a Board and Work program for your dog while you are away on vacation or if your dog needs a refresher course in training. When not in training your dog stays in one of our climate controlled, indoor kennels with a fresh supply of water, a mat, and fed on your schedule. They are well cared for by trainers that know your dog by name. This is a regimented program and a sample day looks like this:

All dogs are worked several times a day including obedience, walks, supervised free play, behavior work (if needed), socialization. This is considerably different than a regular boarding kennel where your dog just goes to a kennel and stays until your return. In our Board and Work program your dog remains active during his stay.

All dogs are afforded at least one free-play session in our "dog yard" lasting about an hour. This builds a healthy balance of our "pack" and provides physical and mental stimulation for your dog.

We have access to 24-hour veterinary care should there be an emergency and we have the ability to check on your dogs on a live internet camera feed.

Denver Dog Works is licensed by the Colorado Department of Agriculture, and is fully insured.

Scheduling and Reservations:

Our Board and Work program fills up quickly especially around major holidays. If you wish to make a reservation please call our school at 303-752-2818 or send us an email at train@denverdogworks.com.

What to bring:

We will provide everything your dog needs to stay comfortable and well fed during their stay. You may bring food or we will provide a professional diet dog food. If you would like to have your dog fed this food while he is with us we charge $1.00 per day. Should you request that your dog receive supplements or medications we will gladly comply with those needs. Please do not bring bedding or toys as these will be provided. When dropping off your dog please do not leave leashes, collars, bowls, toys or any other items. We cannot be responsible for any items left at the kennel.

Veterinarian and Grooming Services

At Denver Dog Works we can handle any of your veterinary, grooming or other appointments. We work in conjunction with Broadview Animal Clinic and Broadview Grooming. If you need any of these services please let us know at drop off. We often do nail trims, bath and brushes, full grooms, neuter/spaying, vaccinations, teeth cleaning for dogs that are staying with us. Prices are very competitive and some of the lowest in Denver.
